
Located at Jalan Soekarno Hatta KM. 15 Panjang, Srengsem Village, Panjang District - Bandar Lampung, Tarahan Port Unit is a coal port owned by PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA), a State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN).
Based on the Decree of the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Number: SK-77/MBU/03/2020 dated March 17, 2020 concerning the Establishment of a National Disaster Task Force for State-Owned Enterprises, PTBA’s Tarahan Port Unit was appointed as the Coordinator for Corona Virus (Covid-19) outbreak prevention in the Lampung Province.
The BUMN Task Force activities at the Rajabasa Type A Terminal Bandar Lampung involved the Bandar Lampung Police force, TNI Kodim 0410 Bandar Lampung, and Lampung Provincial Transportation Service Rajabasa Type A Terminal.
The BUMN Task Force activities included socialization to passengers and visitors in Rajabasa Type A Terminal by Dr. Win Gerugu Syah, a PTBA company doctor Tarahan Port Unit, of the dangers of the Corona Virus (Covid-19), which is currently spreading very quickly, and how to handle it. These activities run smoothly and orderly.
The BUMN Task Force provided 2000 masks and hand sanitizers to be distributed to visitors and passengers at the Rajabasa Type A Terminal, the Bandar Lampung Police force, TNI Kodim 0410 Bandar Lampung and the Lampung Provincial Government at Rajabasa Type A Terminal. The General Manager of Bukit Asam, Tarahan Port Unit, Biverli Binanga, handed over masks symbolically to each representative.
Hand sanitizers were placed in strategic places. Disinfectants were sprayed in areas where many people gathered in the Rajabasa Type A Terminal area including places of worship facilities, to prevent the spread of Covid-19, on Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at Rajabasa Type A Terminal.
To create a sense of security, the bus passengers who were waiting at the terminal were given masks, hand sanitizers and body temperature checked by Infrared Thermometer. Symbolically, General Manager of the Bukit Asam Port Unit Tarahan Biverli Binanga, BRI Chairman Raden Inten Yusrif Mulyadi, Bandar Lampung Police Chief Kombes Yan Budi Jaya and Dandim 0410 Bandar Lampung City Colonel Romas Herlandes gave them directly.
The BUMN Task Force activities were attended by BUMN leaders including: General Manager of Bukit Asam Tarahan Port Unit, Biverli Binanga, Head of BRI Bank Raden Intan Yusrif Mulyadi, Perum Damri Elpohan, PT Angkasa Pura Putri, and from the TNI Dandim 0410 Colonel Romas Herlandes, Danramil 410-06 Kedaton Major Anang Nugroho, from the Police Chief of the Bandar Lampung Police Commissioner Yan Budi Jaya, Kapolsek Kedaton Kompol M Daud, from the Lampung Provincial Government, the Head of Transportation Office represented by Edy Irianto, Head of Rajabasa Type A Terminal Denny Wijdan.
"As we can see, there are a lot of people who come and go to Bandar Lampung, so we focus on places like this," said General Manager of the Bukit Asam Tarahan Port Unit, Biverli Binanga.
"We have also handled the Corona Virus around the company's Ring 1 operational area, such as at Dusun Batu Serampok, Srengsem Village, Panjang District, focusing on places of worship facilities where people often gather; as manifestation of BUMN’s concern for the country in Bandar Lampung region through the BUMN Task Force," he added.
