This award was received by PTBA's Director of Finance and Risk Management Farida Thamrin at the top award ceremony at the Raffles Hotel, Jakarta, Tuesday (September 6, 2022).
PTBA is considered to have extraordinary level of systems, infrastructure, and implementation related to corporate governance (GCG/Good Corporate Governance), risk management, compliance management, and digital technology use that strongly support the successful implementation of GRC (Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance) and continuous improvement of business performance.
The President Director and Board of Commissioners of PTBA are also considered to have a high commitment in supporting the completeness and infrastructure as well as the successful implementation of GRC in the company.
"PTBA is committed to implementing GRC principles in every operational activity. This award encourages us further to implement GRC so that it can foster sustainable business growth, and contribute to national economic development," said Farida.
The assessment is carried out objectively and independently by the Jury, starting with the GCG assessment of more than 900 companies in Indonesia. Each Jury has signed the Jury Code of Ethics for the Assessment and Determination of TOP GRC Awards Winners.
TOP GRC Awards is the biggest and most prestigious GRC award event in Indonesia. This event is held annually by Magazine Top Business in collaboration with the Indonesian GRC Association, IRMAPA (Indonesia Risk Management Professional Association), ICoPI (Institute Compliance Professional Indonesia, and PaGI (Perkumpulan Professional Governansi Indonesia), and is supported by several consulting companies and academics from the Faculty Economics and Business (FEB) Padjadjaran University Bandung.
