The CISEA application integrates several systems including Automation & SCADA System Integration, Bukit Asam Mine Dispatch Optimization System, Automatic Train Loading Station, Slope Stability Radar (SSR), Digital Telemetry, Integrated Water Monitoring System (SPARING), and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
"Digital transformation is one of PTBA Good Mining Practice implementations. The use of digital technology also increases efficiency and business continuity," said PTBA's Corporate Secretary Apollonius Andwie.
With the integration of SCADA in the CISEA platform, distance is not a problem for performing software maintenance, trouble shooting, and analysis of the control system at PTBA. Data analysis can be performed easier and more accurate since all operational data is stored automatically and in real time.
Bukit Asam Mine Dispatch Optimization System has successfully increased mining productivity and efficiency. Production data, real time performance of units and operators, loss time, fuel consumption, monitoring of unit positions (loaders, haulers, ancillaries), unit status, real time estimated mine line conditions, operational safety, water monitoring, rain monitoring data is accessible on mobile.
With the Automatic Train Loading Station, the filling and weighing of coal into the train car is done automatically and can be monitored via mobile phone. The process of filling coal into the train carriages is faster and the coal production capacity from the mine site to the port is higher compared to that of competitors.
SSR application monitors mine slopes in real time and in detail. SSR is able to detect small movements that no other monitoring tools can detect. In this way, the conservation of coal resources can be improved and the cost of landslides risk is minimized.
Digital Telemetry provides rainfall data in real time through CISEA. SPARING gives early warning if there is a deviation in water quality that is not in accordance with quality standards.
CISEA application also helps CSR distribution to be more targeted by providing data on vulnerable groups from social mapping, accelerating the evaluation of aid distribution, and providing comparison data on the accuracy of CSR funds distribution.
"PTBA has received Copyright recognition from the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia for the CISEA application with a protection period of 50 years from the date of publication," he said.
PTBA received a number of awards for its achievements in digital operational transformation. In 2021, PTBA Vice President Information Technology Satria Wirawan received the Satyalancana Wira Karya award from the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo for his innovation in the use of digital technology for mining. Satria also received the Dharma Karya Energy and Mineral Resources award from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources in 2020.
