Mudik Gratis BUMN 2025, Bukit Asam (PTBA) Sending Off Hundreds of Travelers

Mudik Gratis BUMN 2025, Bukit Asam (PTBA) Sending Off Hundreds of Travelers PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) is participating in the BUMN free homecoming program, aimed at providing transportation assistance to underprivileged people who wish to travel back to their hometowns for the Eid al-Fitr celebration safely and comfortably. Carrying the theme 'Safe Homecoming to Destination,' the program also seeks to minimize the risk of traffic accidents.

The release of travelers was led by Minister of BUMN Erick Thohir, Minister of Transportation Dudy Purwagandhi and BUMN Directors at GBK Senayan, Jakarta, Thursday, March 27, 2025.

On this occasion, Erick Thohir stated that the Ministry of BUMN is ready to follow up on President Prabowo Subianto's directive to implement pro-people policies for the 2025 Eid homecoming period. This policy aims to ensure that people feel safe and comfortable while worshiping during holy month of Ramadan and to provide convenience in traveling to reunite with their families in their hometowns.

“Mudik Bersama BUMN has become a regular agenda for BUMN, reflecting our commitment to continuously give benefit for our people. This aligns with President Prabowo Subianto's directive for us to keep providing excellent service to the community. For the Ministry of BUMN, this joint homecoming initiative is similar to policies such as reducing plane ticket prices or adding more train carriages, ensuring people can easily reunite with their families,” said Erick.

Tedi Bharata, Deputy for Human Resources, Technology, and Information at the Ministry of BUMN, stated that the Mudik Gratis BUMN 2025 covers over 200 destination cities across Java, Sumatra, Bali, Sulawesi, Kalimantan, Maluku, and Papua.

"The government and BUMN hope that this program will help reduce traffic congestion, lower accidents, and provide a safer, more comfortable homecoming experience for the community," he said.

In Mudik Gratis BUMN 2025 program, PTBA sent off 100 travelers using two buses, each with a capacity of 50 passengers, heading to Yogyakarta and Malang."      

Niko Chandra, Corporate Secretary of PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA), said that the company supports the government's efforts to ensure a safe, comfortable, and meaningful homecoming journey.

He hopes that travelers will be able to celebrate Eid al-Fitr immediately with their loved ones in their hometowns.

“With unwavering dedication to serving the country, Bukit Asam also ensures that the homecoming journey is safer, more comfortable, and filled with unity,” said Niko.

Mudik Bersama BUMN 2025 reflects BUMN's commitment to consistently supporting a conducive homecoming process by prioritizing the security, comfort, and safety of travelers.

A total of 78 BUMN companies and subsidiaries participated in this program, aiming to serve 100,000 homecoming travelers across three modes of transportation: 1,360 bus units (with a capacity of 67,000 travelers), 90 train series (28,000 travelers), and 26 ship units (5,000 travelers), with destinations in over 200 cities and regencies across Indonesia.

In addition to Mudik Aman Sampai Tujuan BUMN 2025 program, PTBA also participated in the 2025 ESDM Sector Homecoming Together initiative. Through this program, PTBA provided transportation for travelers from Jakarta to Magetan, Kediri, Padang, Medan, and Palembang using five buses with a total capacity of 236 passengers. PTBA further supports the free homecoming program through collaborations with the Lampung Provincial Government and the South Sumatra Provincial Government.

Mudik Bersama BUMN Posts

As an effort to provide security and comfort for travelers, the Ministry of BUMN and BUMN companies and subsidiaries also collaborate to provide the best service for the community  through Mudik Bersama BUMN Posts.

The Posts offer a variety of services, including free health checks, distribution of free medicine, iftar and refreshments, prayer areas, rest zones, and workspaces, among others. These posts are strategically located across key points to ensure comfort and security for travelers.

To ensure a happy and enjoyable homecoming, PTBA contributed to the establishment of the Mudik Bersama BUMN Posts at Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Airport in Palembang, Rest Area KM 234 Lane A and Rest Area KM 215 Lane B on the Terbanggi Besar - Kayu Agung Toll Road, and Rest Area KM 56 on the Indralaya - Prabumulih Toll Road.

“We are committed to supporting the community, not only through our business activities but also during important moments like homecoming,” said Niko.
