
The visit is expected to serve as a starting point to strengthen synergy between the government, state-owned enterprises (BUMN), and MSMEs in implementing strategic programs that directly impact community welfare. Support in the form of facilities and technical assistance is expected to foster innovation, expand market reach, and ensure the sustainability of MSME businesses in Muara Enim Regency.
We, the Muara Enim Regency Government, will collaborate with Rumah BUMN Bukit Asam to prepare local youths of Muara Enim to actively contribute to strengthening the regional economy and reducing poverty," said Deputy Regent Sumarni.
This synergy is believed to create independent, resilient, and competitive MSMEs. “Not only Bukit Asam—we also invite all companies in Muara Enim Regency to contribute in this effort. Economic resilience is not solely the government's responsibility, but also all elements of society and stakeholders in Muara Enim Regency,” said Deputy Regent Sumarni.
On this occasion, the Muara Enim Regency Government also provided assistance in the form of stacked display racks to several MSMEs at the SIBA Center, including SIBA Kopi and SIBA Rosella.
Titin Dwi Oktarini, AVP of Sustainability Planning at PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA), expressed her appreciation for the Muara Enim Regency Government’s visit to the SIBA Center and Rumah BUMN Bukit Asam.

We hope this marks the first step in strengthening relationships among stakeholders and enhancing synergy in the MSME development program in Muara Enim Regency. We also hope that all parties will continue to collaborate in realizing strategic programs that deliver real impact on MSMEs in the future,” said Titin Dwi Oktarini.
As of December 2024, PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) has fostered 290 MSMEs through PUMK Swakelola program. PTBA also regularly conducts training programs and involves its fostered MSMEs in various exhibitions and bazaars, as well as provides infrastructure and facility assistance. As a result, 48 MSMEs successfully advanced to a higher business category in 2024.
