A Printing and Convection Company from Lingga Village Penetrates the National Market with Support from Bukit Asam Hard work and perseverance have made Dedy Irawan’s printing and convection business more successful. This young man from Lingga Village in Muara Enim Regency can earn a turnover of up to billions annually from his business, the Dalgasil brand.

Dedy was initially daring to start a small screen printing and other printing business in 2016. “With limited capital, at that time I learned printing in Java and after that I opened my own screen printing business with the support of my family because I was not yet able to recruit employees," said Dedy.

Orders have remained low during the course of the business's two years of operation. Then, during the COVID-19 epidemic, Dedy received support from PTBA. "PTBA provided financial loan assistance, which was used to purchase an additional unit of digital printing machine," according to him.

The assistance offered by PTBA has had a significant impact. During the pandemic, Dalgasil's turnover grew drastically. “In fewer than two years, the PTBA loan money can be returned,” he said.

Dalgasil started with only two employees and today employs 80 individuals, all of whom are from Muara Enim Regency, particularly Tanjung Enim.

"There are currently 15 digital printing machines, some of which are used to print banners and merchandise such as screen-printed t-shirts, stickers, tumblers, and paper. We also have fifty sewing machines for convection," he explained.

Dalgasil, which was previously only available in Lingga Village, now has locations in Muara Enim and Bandung. Sales have spread throughout the national market, from Bengkulu and Lampung to the island of Kalimantan.

"I am grateful to PTBA for 8 years of guidance, suggestions, and input. I didn't expect Dalgasil's business to be this big," said Dedy.

Meanwhile, Lawang Kidul Subdistrict Head Andrille Martin was also pleased with the performance of Dedy's Dalgasil printing and convection business. According to him, PTBA's role is very important to help develop micro and small enterprises in the region.

"So far, I've seen that PTBA has played an integral role in the development of MSEs, fostering the growth of new entrepreneurs in the Lawang Kidul District area. The community's economy is rising, while the unemployment rate is declining," said Andrille Martin.

He expressed his gratitude to PTBA for providing guidance to MSEs in Lawang Kidul District. “Don't hesitate to collaborate and join the MSEs fostered by PTBA, because there are already success story, such as the Dalgasil business," he said.
