Ciptakan Inovasi, Insan Bukit Asam Dianugerahi Dua Satyalancana dan Tiga Dharma Karya

Ciptakan Inovasi, Insan Bukit Asam Dianugerahi Dua Satyalancana dan Tiga Dharma Karya Two Satyalancana Wira Karya Honorary Medals have been awarded to PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) employees for their innovations. On behalf of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi), the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia personally handed the honorary medals at the 79th Mining and Energy Day Ceremony in Jakarta on Monday, October 10, 2024.

Tegar Resdiansyah, Assistant Manager of Study, Inspection, Evaluation & Reporting of PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) and Okta Robian Pranata, Assistant Manager of Evaluation & Mining Studies of PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) were awarded the Honorary Medals in recognition of their outstanding contributions to Indonesia in the mining sector, making them beneficial to their environment and served as an example for others.

President and Director of PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA), Arsal Ismail, expressed immense pride in the accomplishments of the two Bukit Asam personnel who made innovations to give continuous energy to the country.

This achievement is expected to inspire other Bukit Asam employees to further innovate to realize Bukit Asam's vision of becoming a world-class energy company that cares about the environment.

"All Bukit Asam personnel is proud of this achievement. We hope that this acknowledgement will increase our excitement to keep innovating and adapting in order to keep moving forward. Innovation and strategic business development must continue to take place in order for the organization to thrive and be sustainable," said Arsal.

Tegar Resdiansyah was given the Satyalancana Wira Karya for his innovation in the Digitalization System for Monitoring Electric Power Distribution for the Shovel Electric Unit, meanwhile, Okta Robian Pranata for the SAME-BA innovation (Mining Automation and Digitalization System-Bukit Asam), which is an application for mining activities in Bukit Asam.

Three Dharma Karya Awards

Bukit Asam also received three Dharma Karya ESDM 2024 awards at today’s 79th Mining and Energy Day Ceremony.

Dharma Karya ESDM (Energy and Mineral Resources) is awarded annually to individuals or institutions/companies that have made significant contributions to ideas, wisdom, decision-making, development, and innovation in the Energy and Mineral Resources sector.

Bukit Asam personnel received three Dharma Karya medals for several innovations. First, Agent SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) aiming to strengthen the K3 (Occupational Health and Safety) culture to a resilient level, which idea was developed by Muhammad Rohman Al Hasan, KGS Muhammad Irwinsyah, Anissa Ayu Rahmawati, and Emmanuella Dyca Novayanti.

Second, Design and Construction innovation for Stone Pack and Oversize Product Disposal Conveyors which succeeded in reducing shipping delays, preventing environmental pollution, and reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions at the port, which idea was developed by Kiagus A Hadi, Anung Suwito, Umar Dani, Berry Eka Putra, and Andi F Tambunan.

Third, the Recirculation Fuel Filtration (RFU) innovation to clean dirty fuel tanks due to the use of B30, contributing to energy efficiency and operational cost savings, which innovation was created by Andrika Lestari Rumahorbo, Riksa Suryabudhy Kurniawan, Jasman B Darwas, Fipda Pindra, Riesant Ahmadi, Mohamad Fauzi Wikantyoso, Muhammad Surya Wijaya, and Bima Pratama.

Arsal Ismail expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources for recognizing this achievement. The awards demonstrates that Bukit Asam personnel are also striving to improve the ESDM sector by developing various technologies.

"We give everyone in Bukit Asam the opportunity to grow and innovate for the common good, of the company and Indonesia. To encourage sustainable growth, everyone in Bukit Asam must be willing to make breakthroughs," he said.
